J’s Neighborhood Market - Clarksdale, Mississippi

Through an investment by Partnership for a Healthier America, local neighborhood market J’s Grocery in Clarksdale is being completely renovated to create an entirely new department, enabling the store to carry fresh fruits and vegetables for its customers.  By opening up the ceiling in the front portion of the store's interior, combined with new storefront windows, new HVAC, lighting, and signage, customers are presented with brightly illuminated healthy food options from the moment they step into the store.  The renovation also includes new refrigerated cases to support the expansion of fresh food offerings in the new space.
